Operations

With close to twenty years of experience in law, public policy, government, business, strategic planning, and organizational management and administration, Ms. Friedkin focuses her attention on the company's day-to-day operations and strategic development. She is actively involved with every high-volume customer and is readily available to both the customers and the entire Classic team.

Laboratory Operations

Classic Optical's daily laboratory operations are managed by Mr. Remsey who joined Classic Optical in 1986. Mr. Remsey, a licensed optician, manages all laboratory personnel and is responsible for all fabrication. Mr. Remsey's responsibilities also extend to oversight of the manufacturing equipment acquisition team and helps define output requirements and performance standards in the machinery evaluation process.

Mr. Mermer has been with Classic Optical since 1996. With the help of his Technology Team, he has developed Classic Optical's online presence and proprietary software to seamlessly interface with the technology infrastructure of several state agencies, managed care companies, manufacturing facilities, and both traditional and online stores.

Ms. O'Toole is responsible for the development and management of a customer service team that is expert in each client group's specific requirements. Ms. O'Toole ensures that this team delivers the highest level of customer service possible and maintains its singular focus on the mission of exceeding customer expectations on every call for every patient. Classic Optical's exceptional team of knowledgeable, caring, helpful individuals, listen closely to our customers and strive to do whatever it takes to ensure not only satisfaction, but total delight.

Accounting & Administration

Amy Barnes | Manager, Accounting & Administration

Ms. Barnes joined Classic Optical in 1995. Reporting directly to the CFO, Ms. Barnes manages all day to day accounting and human resources functions and personnel. Ms. Barnes brings years of expertise in general accounting, budgeting, payroll, accounts receivable and payable and bank reconciliations. Ms. Barnes, working with Ms. Friedkin, was instrumental in developing and manages our internal privacy policies and ensures Classic Optical is in compliance with all state and federal laws, including HIPAA.
